The Role
We’re looking for a Founding Team Account Executive to drive new revenue across produce and fresh food organizations. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle - from prospecting to close - selling into operations-driven, compliance-heavy businesses that need practical, easy-to-use software.
This is a new logo–focused role with responsibility for building pipeline, running demos, negotiating contracts, and closing ARR, while also expanding revenue within your book of business over time.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full cycle for new sales opportunities
- Follow up on inbound leads while proactively prospecting into your territory
- Build and execute outbound plans targeting various customer types including - growers, shippers, distributors, and processors
- Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and uncover operational and compliance pain points
- Run discovery calls and product demos focused on real-world workflows (food safety, inspections, supplier management, traceability)
- Position Loamy’s value against legacy and point-solution competitors
- Manage opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts accurately in Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with SDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly ARR targets
- Build trusted relationships that lead to expansions, referrals, and long-term customers
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5+ years of B2B software sales experience
- Proven success owning a full-cycle, quota-carrying role
- Experience selling operational, compliance, or workflow software is a plus
- Comfortable selling to non-technical buyers in operations, quality, and leadership roles
- Strong discovery and consultative selling skills
- Ability to explain complex problems in simple, practical terms
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Highly organized, self-directed, and resilient in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and pipeline creation
Nice to Have
- Experience selling into food, agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with food safety programs (FSMA, audits, inspections, supplier compliance)
- Startup or growth-stage company experience
Compensation
- Variable / Commission: Uncapped, performance-based
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000
